Feet pics at the Met
Forgive me
I finally visited the remodeled European Painting wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The wing reopened two years ago. It’s pretty heavy. You’re swimming through oceans of Rembrandt, being slammed by waves of Velázquez and Goya, tugged by currents of El Greco and Vermeer and Titian.
Too much!
In order to avoid wiping out, I had to winnow my vision through a tiny and arbitrary aperture. Please enjoy the feet pics that resulted.
