Hello!
It has been a while since I intruded on your inbox. I hope today’s intrusion finds you well.
I am here to whisper that paid subscriptions to my Substack— paused for a long time— will be imminently turned back on (don’t worry you won’t be charged if you don’t want to be),1 and new writings have begun to bloom. Book pieces, essays, mini-investigations, things of the sort I used to post.
If you have too many subscriptions already and don’t want more, here is one way to moonwalk around the subscription model.
You might be thinking “But Molly, don’t you work at a mainstream media outlet™, how will you have time to focus on posts that make me laugh and stimulate (every single one of) my cells?” The answer is: I left the mainstream job, for reasons too dull to type. Truly, think of the dullest reasons to leave a job and you’ve probably nailed it. Although if anyone cares to know more, I can write about it.
All to say, I’m back behind the wheel and heading straight to the mall parking lot (Substack) to do donuts. Perhaps you’ll jump into the passenger seat.
-Molly
p.s. I also have a new zine, if you enjoy printed material.
e.g. if you were a paid subscriber in the past and wish to cancel, you should be able to do so now without incurring any new charges. This is not a stick-up.
